              judging by the CAREFUL glance he was throwing at the machine, anyone could have said bucky was EXPECTING it to grow arms && legs && pounce at him. nonetheless, the whole tower was full of some rather STRANGE apparatus that he didn’t know how to use, && he usually stayed as far AWAY from them as he could.

              but he knew he had to get used to the new world.

              ’ — hm. ’ something that sounded somewhat like a GRUNT left the back of his throat when he raised his blue gaze towards tatiana. ’ wouldn’t it — wouldn’t it be SIMPLER to do it the old way ?? this seems … LAZY. ’ a small smile cracked the surface. ’ okay… would you TEACH me how to use it ?? ’

          “ try   not   to   think   of   it   as   LAZY .   try   to   think   of   it   as   more …   convenient .   for   the   working   class   people ,   at   least .   they   can   be   off   getting   ready   for   work   while   it   cooks . ”   it   was   also   useful   for   morning   make - out   sessions   too ,   (  when   you’re   too   busy   canoodling   to   watch   egg   cooking   progress   ‘ the   old   way ’  )   but   she’s   not   going   to   bring   THAT   up .   she   doesn’t   exactly   want   to   scare   bucky   off   now ,   does   she ??   she   knows   that   steve   wouldn’t   be   too   happy   about   that .

          “ SURE .   it’s   as   easy   as   pie !   well ,   toast   and   eggs .   but–   you  know   what   i   mean .   it’s   easy .   you’ll   get   the   hang   of   it   quickly .   i   promise   you   that . ”   or   rather ,   she   hopes   he   can   get   the   hang   of   it   quickly .   but   then ,   she’s   never   needed   to   TEACH   anyone   how   to   use   a   toast   and   egg   maker .   so   really ,   this   was   a   trial   and   error   case .

          well ,   in   all   honesty ,   she’s   certain   that   at   one   point ,   she   too   had   been   rather   confused   with   the   actual   logic   of   the   tefal   machine .   it   was   pointless   to   her .   at   least   until   she   had   realized   the   magic   behind   the   machine .

          “ you   can   make   toast   &&   eggs   AT   ONCE .   plus ,   if   you   put   in   JUST   the   right   amount   of   water   ??   perfect   eggs .   &&   you   don’t   even   have   to   be   there   to   supervise   them .   trust   me .   the   machine   is   a   godsend .   i’m   actually   jealous   i   didn’t   think   of   it   first . ”
