    ❛  i know. tony told me. & hey– 12 angry men is great, & IT’S in black & white.  ❜    there were other movies too, better than what this era could offer. steve just saw too many similarities between them all, now. 50 shades of gray was no exception, either.  ❛  i didn’t like it. too predictable, &– she basically said no. he ignored that & continued to peruse.  ❜  so with that logic, it was easy to assume steve wasn’t a fan. 

    what he did like though, was movies like this. he hadn’t really expected the story to turn out this way, but it did, & he’s a fan. steve puts the movie in, & then makes his way back to the couch, reclaiming his seat beside tanya. the familiar start up tune begins to play, & the start credits begin to roll. here he is, spending the night with tanya stark, watching netflix and sitting on the couch. it was.. nice.

        “ 12 angry men ?? that’s the one about the jury and the teenager accused of stabbing his dad, right ?? ” it was familiar, and she has watched the movie before, a few times. but— “ i didn’t like it. ” she adds, shrugging. that was a lie, of course. tanya is simply being stubborn in an attempt to prove a point to him. however, it WAS one of the few black and white movies she could TOLERATE, with most of the other black and white movies she liked happening to be horror movies. she really did much prefer color, though. and she especially enjoyed animated pieces. there was something about them that took her back to her childhood. her younger days were a much better time for her, obviously. 

         she gets settled in, moving back in her seat in an attempt to get more comfortable, looking toward steve as he speaks. tanya shrugs. “ not really. ” she says, shaking her head, “ if i change my mind, i can always get it myself. ”
